The word Darkhand sends bolts of fear into criminal elements throughout the universe. It is a term used for a special kind of justice dealt out in the 0planet colonies. Given to an individual or small group of police officers, it separates them from the rest of the law enforcement community. These are rogue cops. The end justifies the means. They don't play by any rules unless they make them up, and then they'll break them. The one thing these cops have in common is that they can't be bought. At least most of them. Maybe it's a genetic thing, but it's their strongest weapon in fighting the gangsters that find a life of crime so easy on these corruption filled planets.
